Spirit is
What makes us go.
It can be friend,
or it can be foe.

My spirit gets daunted
When I run into walls
Caused by events
That my life befalls

My spirit sustains
'gainst friend and foe.
All things considered
It's what makes me go.

Spirit propels me
To reach new heights.
Making achievements
That I never might.

My spirit is my vigor
Full of happiness and cheer.
It's the frame of mind I offer
To all who would hear.

My spirited disposition
Characterizes my view on life.
Happiness and gladness
The mettle of my life.

Spirit is breath, vitality,
Essence and more.
It's the innermost secret-
Your strong inner core.

Go Do Be
Are verbs I like.
For they exemplify
My spirit to me.

What I always must do
As I go along.
Is to boost my spirit
With a happy song.
